As for your car well... that's where we can help, whether you need help with the insurance claims process, have a small scrape or need major collision repairs. There is no shop more qualified to do your repairs. Our many years experience in NASCAR racing taught us about speed and quality. We hold ourselves to a higher standard.

All Body Shops Are Not The Same

Improper repairs can greatly affect your vehicles safety and value. Although most consumers believe all body shops are the same, this statement couldn't be further from the truth. Having over 27 years experience, owner Bob Winfrey says "I have worked at many different facilities, including some insurer approved repair shops (or Preferred Shop" programs - which are comparable to HMO's) that had allowed many issues (required by manufacturers) to be overlooked. I was never asked to check one seat belt even though almost all manufacturers recommend checking or replacing them in the event of a collision".

I feel that these shops were more interested in pushing vehicles through as fast as possible rather than performing a quality repair. They discount their labor by completing a high volume of repairs and cutting corners. Insurers love anything that saves them money. The main reason we opened this facility is so we can focus on Quality and Safety rather than volume. We don't want you or your loved ones driving a poorly repaired vehicle any more than you do.

J.D. Power and Associates Reports: Consumers Express Higher Satisfaction with Insurance Companies When Fewer Restrictions are Imposed in Selecting Body Shops for Collision Repairs
Consumers who use an auto insurance provider that requires a vehicle to be taken to one of its "preferred provider" body shops for collision repairs or body work are less satisfied overall than those who are able to choose their own repair shop, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2003 Collision Repair Satisfaction Index StudySM released today.

Poor repairs can create major safety issues if the structure under your vehicle is not repaired properly. They can cause parts to bend or fold up easier in a future collision causing damage to the passenger compartment and you may get hurt or crushed by steering columns, dashboards, or airbags deploying too soon. These are major issues. OE manufacturers have developed, tested and designed certain features such as crush zones, to provide additional safety to the occupants of the vehicle. Along with the structural integrity areas and concerns, these items are NEVER open negotiating at All Precision Collision Repair.

Things You Should Know About Your Accident Claim

  1. By law you only need one estimate from the repair shop of your choice.
  2. Beware of an estimate that is extremely low, the use of aftermarket parts(non-OEM) or not including all of the necessary work can greatly effect price.
  3. Never drive a vehicle that could be unsafe because of damage.
  4. Insurers are likely to send you to a so-so repair shop because cut rate collision repair companies save the insurer money by the use of discount labor or counterfeit parts, you do not benefit from this.
  5. Don't be fooled. You have the Right to Choose!

Collision Repair

You have paid insurance premiums since you started driving; now you have an accident and what happens next? Your insurance company may try to persuade you to go to one of their partner shops which may not be in your best interest. Insurance companies want you to use their partner shops because they get discounted labor rates and are allowed to dictate how the repairs to YOUR car are to be done. Because these shops are under contract with the insurance companies they have guidelines to follow that may affect the quality of the repairs done to your vehicle. We at All Precision Collision Repair hold ourselves to a higher standard.

We at All Precision Collision Repair are dedicated to the quality of our repairs and we have over 30yrs of pride in the auto body repair industry. We guarantee our craftsmanship for life!

You were just involved in an accident and liability had been determined to be the other drivers fault. The insurance company that owes you money gives you a number to call to have the damage inspected. When you speak to them they advise you to take it to a certain shop in the area. You ask about using a different shop and they say things like, "…take it there and it may take an appraiser several days or weeks to come out." Or that it may cost more than they will pay and you would have to pay the difference. This is not true! Because they have chosen the option to repair your car instead of replacing it no one knows exactly how much it will cost until the car is done and you are satisfied with the repairs. These are simply marketing tools used to steer you to their repair partners. In order to save money they may use "LKQ" (used) or "Quality Replacement" (aftermarket) parts to repair your car.

"Like Kind and Quality" or used parts may be from the same model year, they are taken off vehicles that were involved in mishaps serious enough to take them off the road. They were TOTALED! Often these parts need repairs before they can be installed on your vehicle, and there is no guarantee that "LKQ" parts are OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) parts if the totaled vehicle from which the parts came had previously been repaired using aftermarket parts.

"Quality Replacement" means they were made by someone other than your vehicle's manufacturer. They are not a always quality replacement part as the name may imply. They may not have the same fit, finish, or metallurgical corrosion resistance or even be made from the same gauge of metal. Use of these parts may even void your car's warranty. Insurance partner shops may be limited as to how much they can charge for labor, or even be denied to bill for important required procedures that are necessary to propery repair your vehicle. These "prefered repair shops" go along with the insurers'limitations in order to be fed work by being referred by insurers, similar to HMOs and PPOs used in health care. You wouldn't want procedures eliminated if they are necessary. These shops agree to not perform some of the necessary procedures, cut corners, charge a lower labor rate, and use Aftermarket Parts or Used Parts, all designed to save the insurer money; in exchange for customers who are steered to these shops by the insurer.
